Violations Found at Mizzou

The NCAA really needs to figure out how to hold the coaches accountable. It doesn't seem fair that the coaches just move to a new school. (I didn't read that entire article and don't know what Haith did or didn't do wrong, I am just speaking in general terms)

It said Haith was cleared by the NCAA.

It said Haith was cleared by the NCAA.

Haith's personal lawyer has claimed he was told that. The NCAA has not made that determination. He also left for the Tulsa job four days after finding out his Mizzou staff was under investigation. Doesn't look fishy at all …. Of course he knew what was going down. This doesn't happen twice without a head coach's knowledge.

The NCAA hasn't finished an investigation. These sanctions are self-imposed. We'll see what if anything they find on Haith.

This is what we get for hiring Haith in the first place. Should've been fired immediately after the Miami stuff came to light in the months after he was hired. Instead we end up with a cratered program that's a complete rebuild. Anderson IMO was hired really for one reason only: because no one else would take the job and he's the kind of sacrificial lamb who can put distance between Haith and the next guy.

Hopefully that next guy has a few nice sophomores and juniors to start with in a couple years. The current freshmen don't really suck (in the way mid-major role players don't suck … in the way ksu and Baylor and ISU, when they were at their lowest, always had a guy or two who seemed to play there forever who you're kinda sure could find a spot somewhere at the end of your rotation).
