Visitors for this weekend

Wouldn't be surprised if we had a couple of prospects in for a Saturday game. Anyone heard any news about potential visitors? I'm still holding out hope that we get involved with Julian Washburn and he pops up in Norman for one of our last two games.

I don't live there anymore, but here's some film i dug up. I can tell you that the Wellston Community is behind East St. Louis, the scariest place I've ever been. And I'm not scared of much. He'd probably be a pretty tough kid from that area.

Found a December, 2008 article on McLemore and could not resist posting it when I read this quote:

"This season will be a success if we can come together defensively as a team and play every game like it's our last," said the confident guard. "Playing in Wellston, people have high expectations every year. We compete for a state title each year. I want to be a state champion!"

I have no idea if this kid is the real deal of if he could play at the D-1 level? But, if OU's players had approached the season with this kind of attitude, one has to believe they would be participating in post season play, not sitting at home watching it on television this year.

Wow. This kid is a serious baller. Just looked him up on Rivals and he has offers from Missouri, Arkansas and some others. He's a 2011 kid though so he wouldn't help us next year. But we should definitely be on him. Wow.
