We got our vote from the same AP guy as last week but he moved us up from #25 to #22.

I can't find the coaches poll on ESPN or USA today, are they out yet? I know we are 26th in AP, but they still haven't posted the coaches poll

Well they posted the coaches poll to ESPN just after I posted, so now I feel like an idiot. I would rather stay unranked for a little while, fly under the radar. I think we have to beat Texas or Kansas to get ranked unless a bunch of teams lose again

We are 26 in the AP...I bet if we beat La Tech that we get in at 24/25...

If we can beat La Tech and then Texas on Jan. 4, would probably enter AP Poll on Monday, Jan. 6 going into the week of homes games vs. Kansas and ISU.

That said, let's just beat La Tech and then worry about Texas.

I looked at certain ballots for AP poll, and I'm just questioning whether some of these people do their homework? I mean yes, we are a little biased, but having Texas ranked and us not when we have beaten them at their home floor? Just doesn't make sense.

You just account for taste...

At least college basketball uses the RPI and we are left arguing about the 50th best team instead of the 3rd (now 5th) best team like college football.
