I don't necessarily disagree with your premise if we are looking at a "blind resume" for a bubble team, but the problem is that we simply have not been close to competitive against the elite teams (unless you count A*M as an elite team...I don't). In other words, we haven't really "looked like we belong" when we've stepped up in competition. And I think that can turn into a black mark against us. I don't know if it is just me, but it's like the committee is just looking for a reason to keep us out....so those types of performances against the really good teams don't help our cause.

Does the tourney start today? If so, great. If not, you’ll have to add in a lot more losses and very few wins.

If we don’t get in, that loss to A&M at home could very well be the reason. You could throw in the UT game at home too if you wanted. It’s a very small distance from the in house to the out house.
