This isn't in Morgantown. We tend to have trouble in Morgantown. But, we wee the nearest thing that WV had to a quality win this year. They didn't play a ranked opponent in non-conference play, and OU was the best team that they beat. Iowa State beat them home and home.

Iowa State beat them because Bridget Carleton went off on them in Morgantown. She hit four three-pointers in both of the Iowa State wins over WV. But WV was 10 for 46 against Iowa State from three (7 of 29 in Morgantown). Hold them down from three, and you tend to beat them.

Martin, Muldrow, Pardee, and Brewer are their three-point shooters. WV shot over fifty percent against us in Morgantown, and was 10 of 21 from three. They outrebounded us 41-33. In Norman, they were 11 of 30 from three, and they shot only 37% from the field while we tied in rebounds.

Maddie didn't have a good game in Morgantown, and didn't play at all in Norman. Vivi didn't do well in Morgantown, but went off for 33 in Norman.

Play defense and get some good shots. Pay attention to turnovers. Peyton and Gioya have been sloppy recently.

I do not understand this team. I was afraid we would not win, but I did not expect this. I just hope we can turn things around for the NCAA tournament.

Now maybe you see why others and myself feel like there need to be some changes made

Sherri said it all during the halftime interview of the Baylor game when she stated, "this is not what women's basketball is suppose to be" - in particular - the physicality. Until OU starts recruiting physical athletic players - this is going to be a repeated experience. I has been 7 years since OU was a legit threat in women's basketball - Sherri seems happy to be 3rd or 4th.

If the game has gotten more physical, and it obviously has, it is up to our coaches and players to adjust. You cannot control how officials call games, but at some point, you have to be realistic. Get physical, or just enjoy your 20-40 point beatings.

Anyone who makes any type of excuse or justification for this performance cannot be taken seriously.

There will be, blaming the refs, other team playing too rough...ect, instead of putting the blame where it should go.

Did anyone detect an offense or defensive game plan? And buy he way, the peak is probable the most uncomfortable place I have ever been.

No excuse and i can't imagine anyone in OU lockeroom is making one. No one feels worse I assure you. Toughness counts

That game sums up this Sooner Team and staff. Embarrassed in OKC. Yikes, who would have thought that a team could be so out of sync. There's a good chance they slip to a 5 or 6 seed. Basically, they are likely to be out in round 1.

There is no chemistry in this group. No one is on the same page. This isn't a "young" team. They've played a lot of games together. Maybe they are friends, but they aren't a team.

The decline continues. I don't need to hear Sherri tell us why they lost so badly, I know why. I saw it it with my eyes. Here's my concern. Every coach knows when their team isn't ready to play. That's been the case in a lot of games this year. You could tell in the warm-ups. Why put up with it?

We will be lucky to make the sweet 16.

No, I am not expecting to make it to the sweet 16. I would like to play well and win the first game and do the same and make it close in the round of 32. I am not criticizing these players or down on them, it is just the way they are playing, I do not see getting past the round of 32. Of course, I hope I am wrong. There are plenty of people who will argue about what is wrong and a lot of it will be repetitious. I have said my feelings in the past and really
they do not matter. It is what it is, whatever the problem. I enjoy women's basketball and like to follow OU but it isn't as much fun these last few years. I believe that is normal to want to see a good, competitive team most of the time. Bottomline, it would be great if they did make it to the Sweet 16.

"SHERRI COALE:
I've been coaching a long time, and I
don't think that I've ever had a team take the floor and
appear to be as ill-prepared or as unmotivated as we
appeared tonight and it's hard to understand and I'm
disappointed by it. I want to publicly apologize to our
fans and our administration because that was not what
the University of Oklahoma deserves. It is not the way
our institution should be represented. Ultimately, that's
on me. It's on me and my coaching staff. We have to
find a way to reach our guys emotionally and mentally
to get them in a position to perform better than we did
tonight.
I want to give West Virginia credit. They were fantastic.
They played with great urgency. They played with
great purpose. They played with great intensity, and
they're a very good basketball team."

It is bad to watch "your" team lose. But it almost makes you want to walk away when "your" team doesn't even play with fundamentals that junior high players should know. We looked so bad yesterday. Lack of energy, no fundamentals, and worse, no coherent game plan that countered the physicality of the West Virginia defense. That is definitely on the head coach, and the coaching staff. It seems like this is a recurring problem over the last several years.
Disappointed.

Not counting Maddie, there are five Seniors on this team. It would seem that leadership is lacking on the floor.

Sherri Coale...no running from this. Class act all the way.

This team is going backwards instead of improving, Sherri what are you doing or better yet what are you not doing?
