What Does Sherri Do Now?

I don't think that has anything to do with it. Boren has attended at least one game this year which I don't remember seeing him at a game the last 2 or 3 seasons. He's also attended more men's games this year than the last 3 or 4 years combined. Joe is also chairman of the NCAA men's selection committee so they are both plenty busy I'm sure.

I'm not sure why you would say "neither seems all that concerned with WBB". Is that only because they don't attend every game? In the 10 years I've had season tickets, I think there is not a lot of difference in attendance from year to year. I think lack of attendance is poor indicator of whether they are concerned or not. I can pretty much assure that Boren and Castiglione are concerned about all things OU.

I meant concerned in the negative sense or unhappy with Sherri.

Sure I expect they, like all of us, would like to win every game. But more is being produced than just a win/loss record.

Agreed, although it's very apparent with recent announcement of 8 straight semesters of 3.0 or higher for athletic teams OU Athletics Sets Record and Boren/Castiglione's comments they expect a well rounded program (athletically AND academically). Sherri's program was really kind of the forefront of this. Men's basketball and baseball have notoriously in the past had poor academic performance and now they are doing the best they ever have. If you look at all athletic teams, pretty much everyone has had increased performance in academics and service, which is what Boren has wanted, not only for athletics but for all students. To leave the University as well-rounded individuals and make a difference in the world! He also understands the importance of OUr athletic teams in terms of being the window for the university to others in the rest of the country. He also understands the importance of donors to the University and has to pay attention to them as well. I don't know of any university president who has done a better job in managing all these facets and elevated the status of OUr University significantly in his period as leader.

All that being said, I'm not happy with our on the court inconsistency. I don't think many are, least of all Sherri! I'm hopeful we can end the season on a high note. Outside of UConn, and probably S. Carolina and Notre Dame, anyone can be beat this year. Boomer Sooner!

Just like Stoops, Sherri will deposit the check in the bank

To go back to the original question, I seriously doubt Sherri will do anything significantly different than she has done the last few years. Unless an assistant decides to leave, I think this staff stays intact and it will be business as usual. If an assistant does resign, I expect Colton will get that job.

I dont know that Colton would fill a vacancy but you are exactly right on the rest of your post.
There will be no change unless and until an assistant quits (none will be fired) and a new assistant chosen and even then, unless that coach is a world beater recruiter there will be little change.

You could be right. The reason I think Sherri would likely hire Colton as an assistant is because he has no high school or college coaching experience and he never played college ball. Because of that, it would be difficult for him to get a college assistant's job on his own. If Colton worked for Sherri for a few years he would then have a lot better chance of then going to another school as an assistant.
