I am headed to a Winter Retreat with our Youth Group this weekend in Miami OK. Cell service is spotty and I can probably make the entire weekend without finding out the OU - ISU score.

Do I wait to watch it Sunday night when I get home?

Do I look at the score when I get cell service?

It's a struggle. I need the find folks here at OU Hoops to guide me in this endeavor.

Show some restraint by avoiding all electronics this weekend and record the game to be watched later. You’ll enjoy the retreat a lot more.

I've been known to put my phone on "Airplane Mode" when I am unable to watch the game live and don't want an unwanted app update or someone I know to ruin it for me. Not necessarily ideal for your situation but effective nonetheless.

I ALWAYS dvr and watch later if I can't watch live. Personally, I can never understand people who just check the score of a game on their phone instead. I just can't get there with that approach!!

I typically intend for this when I have a similar but, in my head I just keep thinking like Smalls from Sandlot: “I just can’t take this no more!” And then I ruin it... Now to be fair, knowing the score a lot more enjoyable to watch later.

But in answer to OP’s original question, go to the retreat and have a good time... If you can hold off until Sunday you’ll be happy you did, if you don’t, I won’t judge
