I apologize for asking an OU board about a non-OU player transferring to a school that isn't OU, but I know there are a lot of people here familiar with Tulsa basketball.

I've searched for highlights, but there's not much out there. Can anyone tell me what kind of player he is? (how he gets his points, how well he defends, his passing, how well he can handle the point position, etc)

Is not a point guard, but got forced to play it a lot. Decent shooter, but very good at driving, wiry, decent rebounder but should be better with his length. Hard to tell what kind of defender he is when Wojick played such a conservative defensive style, no pressure on the perimeter at all, all about containing.

Not much of a passer, but once again, Wojick last year played three guards, none of which were point guards. So, it might be an offensive system issue, but in my games watching him he didn't seem to have any above average passing ability.

Certainly a good addition.

Edit - I also tend to think he isn't as good a shooter as his sophomore % indicates. A bit of a jerky motion, if I recall. Not very consistent.

Ive seen him play a bunch. He was easily TU's best player. Great slasher, can really finish around the rim. Has a really solid mid-range game. He is an 'ok' shooter but he is best going to the rim. Has a nice floater too.

Good pickup for anyone, really. He was rated higher than Cameron Clark was coming out of high school by TexasHoops I think.

He definitely gets most of his points off the dribble. Tends to be able to draw fouls, which helps his scoring average. He can hit 3's but as has been mentioned he's not really a "pure shooter", more of a mid-range game. He's long and lanky but not really an explosive athlete, kind of like Austin Johnson in that regard. I think he might do better in a more wide-open offense and also the redshirt year will probably be a big benefit to his development. I don't see him as a potential superstar but he can be a solid contributor at the SEC level.
