They "appear" to be using yesterday's (or a decade ago) recruiting strategies and it's not going to land them the student-athletes that are experienced winners; mentally or physically.

Furthermore, SCoale stated that she was not a good recruiter back in 2006ish during a Fox Sports Show or...it may have been her basketball show. Does not appear to have improved. If she was not good back then and they landed the Paris twins, AOlajuwon, DRob, AThomas...maybe she should go back to doing what she was doing then. But she can't...SHansmeyer is gone. I recently heard a few club coaches talking about her "disappearance". They described her as a "recruits kind of assistant coach". The kind of assistant that builds relationships with players to assure they will be there when the going gets tough.

Edit:
1. Use social media within the NCAA guidelines...you must use the tools that today's recruits relate to.
2. "Reassign" or lose two assistants not named Jan Ross.
3. Rehire SHansmeyer (if she will come back)...not like she hasn't rehired previous staff.
4. Hire a male coach with a strong recruiting and development record. You need balance culturally, ethnically, developmentally, game coaching, etc.
5. Bring back the camps in a big way and REALLY build relationships with the participants rather than using them as a money maker for the department. Or maybe it was not a money maker and it needs to be. Hopefully the AD works with them to ensure facility cost is not killing them.
