Where are they now, Kevin Bookout >>> foxsports

320 lbs!! Wow! Hope he makes it. Thanks for posting SSam.

And OU fans called him unathletic. This is a guy that literally could have played 3 D-I sports. I hope he makes it. I always like Bookout.

Bookout running off the court with Sampson at the end is one of the best moments in OU bball history.

Saw Kevin on a SW flight about 2 months ago, no way he is 320. If anything he looks slimmer than his playing days. Maybe he's benching 320.

Wow! Seems like yesterday. What are those kids doing now? If I remember; Drew to Xavier, LMac to Minnie, Godbold never got any credit, TEverett smoked up and I really enjoyed watching him play, most of the time, Bookout was the most unathletic to ever play by some, Gray was actually better than he probably should have been, benefited from Everett and Bookout, Gilbert was solid and worked very hard, hated to see him shoot a free throw. After all that, I miss those guys.

Tell me who you would trade for on our current team?

Bookout was the arm raisingest player I've ever seen. Didn't matter when or how the guy scored, he'd go run back on defense arms raised above his head like he just hit a homerun in the little league world series.

Also remember him getting a steal in a bedlam game in Norman, and seemingly running from halfcourt to the basket without dribbling before dunking it. And then, of course, raising his arms in celebration as he ran back.

That was awesome! Then Byron Eat-a-ton trying to take the charge on the baseline and allowed Everett to shoot 2 free throws to win in regulation.

Now THAT is a run on sentence! Impressive stuff.
