Seeing play next year? Let's throw Buford in the mix as well.

I need to rewatch som Buford highlights...

Odomes just seems to have blown up.... James was #1 SG in Texas before the injury, will he be 100% ready in summer?

Manyang? I think he could be a difference maker.

That's a tough question for me, too.

The easy and the honest answer for me is that I'm looking forward to seeing all of our newbies next year. I think Buford will be the heir apparent to Buddy if the latter leaves. Manyang could be a difference-maker in defending the paint. Odomes put up some amazing stats his senior season in high school. One has to believe at least some of what he accomplished will translate to the next level. James was recovering from an injury for most of his senior season in high school. But one has to believe there was a reason he was the #1 shooting guard in his class as a junior, and that he will return to form when he shakes off the rust.

In short, I think our 2015 class and a redshirting Buford may be the best group of recruits LK and his staff have brought in since they came to OU. Time will tell if I'm right.

Odomes for me!

A few months ago I would have said Manyang or Buford but the more I watch Rashad the more I like him.

James. He's been out of sight out of mind due to his injury, but assuming he fully recovers, I think he'll be a major contributor next year. If the ESPN scouting report is to be believed, he adds a dimension OU has lacked---an athletic slasher who looks to finish at the rim in traffic.

Of course, it looks like all the new guys add a lot. This entire class should improve OU's overall size, length and athleticism. I'm excited to see them all!

Buford, he was expected to start if Thomas didn't transfer. Now he has had a full semester of practice and skill development. Think he's going to be a day 1 difference maker.

Oh man. So tough. Love the new guys coming in. I'm going Manyang just because of the incredible ability he showed on his highlight videos, and it seemed like he put up some really nice numbers (multiple double-double games) late in the season after he came back. Close second is Odomes. Think he's going to be a huge steal and maybe have the biggest impact of the bunch.

Manyang and McNease. Hopefully, one will be the aircraft carrier we haven't had since Stacy King.

Of the wings, Odomes looks scary good on film, so it will be interesting to see that was just playing against High school kids, or if he is really as good as he looks.

Otherwise, I am excited to see them all. Love Buford and James film as well.

Buford year in college will be huge. Plus he had last summer as well.

Mcnease will barely play...if at all.

Good thread. For me, all of them. I was really disappointed when Buford lost his eligibility. This is going to be a major turnover/torch passing if you will over the next couple years. Hope Manyang can provide not only defense but offense. That Jamuni can improve his first year of playing, and that Khadeem can make a huge jump on O next year. And finally, that James and Odomes give us some scoring punch off the bench. It may be a little rough in non conference next year as everybody settles in, but hopefully Lon can mold them into a cohesive unit by Jan and OU can go nine maybe 10 deep.

This is why I'm most excited to see Buford next season. I think the extra time will be a huge boost for an already talented player.

It's certainly nice to see the pipeline filled with potential and balance.

Seems like the holes to fill will be down low, so Buford and Manyang appear to be in line for lots of minutes.

Other than that, I think Lon will find a way to work in one of the young guards.

That would have us at a 10 man rotation, and I doubt we will go deeper than that. Of course, that's assuming Buddy comes back, which I don't know.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone decided to transfer if buddy comes back.

Do we have one coming in that can create their own shot and/or get to the rim? We seriously lack anyone who can create their own shot.

Why would someone transfer before they have even had an opportunity to be eligible. These kids are not quitters. They are elite athletes that are highly competitive.
