Which single player would you want back from last year's team

I'd take Pledger.

Fitz would offer depth in the post, but how badly would he slow our play up when he's on the court? No way he would be able to keep up with the offensive tempo we've been running this year.

this is what I was going to post. We couldn't run like we can this year with Fitz and somewhat with Pledger on the court. Not remember us having to put him on the opponents three point line anytime we would break a press because his ball handling was so suspect? Both would slow us down tremendously.

If it's not Osby or M'Baye, I would go with none of the above

Probably Fitz. He may not fit really well, but he is a capable big man. Doesn't matter if he is slow, we can run the break with 4 guys, and let Fitz bring up the rear. But having another solid inside guy, and a guy that can hit from 15 feet consistently, would help, at times.

If you can't pick Osby or M'Baye, none of the above. We are overall better everywhere. The only one I might think about is Fitzgerald. Even then I'm not sure he's as good as Bennett is right now. Fitz had a better offensive game as a senior. And we did lack depth inside. But Fitz would play more because of his experience. M'Baye probably makes us good enough to win the Big 12 and possibly be a one or two seed if he stuck around.

Arent. He is a good kid, everyone seems to like him, and he wouldn't cause any trouble. The rest of them don't need to be within a 100 yards of this team.

Were there issues with the others I don't recall? I remember Pledger and Fitzgerald getting in trouble for shop lifting but I have forgiven them.

Wouldn't want any of them. Let's move forward not backwards.

grooms is often within 100 yards of this team ..

I know. I like Grooms. He seems to be a good guy. The current players and the staff seem to like him. I was told that Sam was a lot of help over the summer working out with the guys and talking Woodard through some point guard processes. I just lumped him in there because he fell in with the negative vibe crowd his senior year.
