Has the best Talent?
I voted Baylor, but it's a somewhat unfair question. Missouri has elite guard talent, up there with those Villanova teams from a few years ago. But since big men are hard to come by, and that's what Baylor has in spades, I went with them.
Speaking of, Kansas is going to be in BIG trouble next season. Shallow roster and lose their two best players, but another starter. Baylor or Iowa St. will probably win the league. I even like our chances to finish ahead of KU next year.
6'9 Cory Jefferson can't even get on the floor.
It's between Baylor, Iowa State, Texas, and OU to win the league next year, probably in the order I listed. Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia will probably compete as well. Kansas, TCU, and Texas Tech are in big trouble. And yes, I really do think Kansas is in big trouble if Robinson leaves. Besides Robinson and Taylor, Kansas has nothing this year. Self is a good coach, but he has really struck out on recruiting the last few years, and coaching only takes you so far (as we've seen with Kruger this year).
I would swap Texas and OSU. If Texas loses Kabongo they will be in a difficult spot since they lose Brown as well. It looks like Nash is going to stay, they add Smart, and lose Page (which I think will actually be better for them in the long run).
Perhaps I voted without reading the question as well as I should have (voted Kansas because the Jayhawks are best, in my book, based on the talent they have). Baylor is actually a pretty crappy team when you consider the talent Drew has brought to Waco. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Sooners beat Baylor when they meet again. One thing's for certain: Drew will get outcoached from the opening tip.

this is said every year almost and it is never true. I used to say this too but I have learned my lesson

They're a shallow team (meaning it seems highly unlikely their stashing some studs on the bench), and lose their best players. They aren't bring in an exceptional recruiting class. They are in trouble.
