Will Jawun Evans leave the aggies

I found this on another board - no link though.

Oklahoma State sophomore Jawun Evans will enter the 2017 NBA draft, the Tulsa World has confirmed.

Evans has not yet signed with an agent. ESPN, which first reported Evans' decision, reported the point guard has "every intention" of remaining in the draft.

Evans told ESPN's Jeff Goodman in a text message: "I am going to enter the 2017 NBA Draft. I want to Thank Everyone at OSU. This was a tough decision. OSU will forever be in my heart."

A star point guard at OSU for the past two seasons, Evans averaged 19.2 points and 6.4 assists per game this season.

He was even better late in the year, averaging 22.8 points and 9.1 assists over his final eight games.

Evans was likely to make this decision regardless of Brad Underwood's departure from OSU to Illinois, a source said.

Evans seems to be projected as a possible late first rounder. DraftExpress projects Evans to go 27th overall to Portland.
