Will Texas ever beat K-State at any sport again?

I was just about to post this. I bet Deloss is on the phone with The Mountain West trying to get K-State out of the conference.

4 of last 5 in bball, 3 straight in football.... They've definitely owned Texas as of late.

Texas does not finish down the stretch. I couldn't believe that they folded last season..and as soon as I buy into this team, they fall apart.

It's funny how similar UT football and basketball are...always the most talented (according to HS star rankings) and always just mediocre(ish) on the field/court.

Despite this loss, I don't consider that team mediocre(ish).

I guess in terms of UT basketball, I would mean, great hype and always underachieving. I guess you're right that's not necessarily mediocrity. My comment was hyperbolic.

...and to think I laughed at KSU for hiring Martin simply because he got Michael Beasley on campus.

Barnes is owned by an AAU coach.

A Texas fan's quote...Bitter?

In fairness though, the Sweet 16 means you were one of the final 16 left standing, that is much better than Mediocre

That's true, but considering they were going to be #1 before the meltdown started, only making the Sweet 16 would be a disappointment relative to expectations.

Funny, but uninformed.

Martin isn't an AAU coach. He actually coached HS basketball in Miami (FL), and was pretty darn good but was suspended for supposed cheating.

The AAU coach is his assistant that is paid a pretty hefty paycheck...can't remember his name.

Delonte Hill.
