I think people are confusing playing with pace and playing in the transition game. I think what WW referred to about Villanova and Memphis is the key: it is a a dribble-drive offense that is the big change. Transition is what it is...unless you have some gifted open court players or play in a full-court pressure style like Missouri or Louisville then you run when you have opportunity. But the pace they play at has as much to do with how a team plays in the halfcourt as it does transition.
