Tiny was a decent kid but messed up with that loan to pay the prep school so they would release his transcript, and tried to pay it back and wanted to stay at OU. The NCAA wouldn't let it happen. I think he could have become a decent player for the Sooners.

Didn't he also refuse to cooperate with the investigation, which made things worse for OU when the hammer came down? Seems as if that's what I read at the time.

You may be right. Tiny was more of a follower than a leader back in those days. He was easily influenced. Although he went to Oak Hill his junior and senior years, he played for Atascocita as a freshman and sophomore (Humble/Houston area). He played AAU for Houston Hoops along with TMG (where Christian James played last summer, too). He went to Oak Hill to get more notice as a basketball player.
