Freeman looked great. He's gonna be on the floor plenty if not almost always. He's tall, long, quick feet, good court awareness, and he has a nice outside shot that he gets off quick. you could just see like him and james or jordan in a little 2 man game.

If he keeps hitting shots it will be really easy for Kruger to give him minutes. He's a lot more prepared to play than I was expecting from an international guy.

He is a 6'10" guard. He does move well on D and he does have a good feel on Offense. He will be a good a passer also BUT he has to improve his inside D and rebounding

Those guys are usually more ready. At least, the guys with skills are. Some of the bigs that are just big bodies take time. But the skills for international guys are normally ahead of similar players in the states, IMO.

I have said for sometime that Freeman's unique size and skills will make keeping him on the bench virtually impossible. If he can improve his rebounding, he has a chance to start at some point. He also has decent footwork for a guy his size, so his defense will come in time.

I thought his defense was ok but these guys weren't going to overpower our guys like some can later on. He isn't a rim protector so that expectation shouldn't exist. He deferred to some other teammates on some rebounds so he could have had several more. He must fight harder there but these 2 areas aren't as far off as a 1 board night might suggest. Loads of promise with this guy. Very impressed.

He should not get many minutes until he fights inside and wins a third of those battles, or else he will remain soft for his career.

Ada, you've been a "buyer" of Freeman's game for a long time. He is proving to be not only the tallest player on the he team but also the best outside threat. Unusual combinaton for other teams to guard. Do they let their big men to leave the paint to follow him, or they put a smaller guy on him that he can easily shoot over? I know we've privately discussed what he can potentially add to this team.

It will be interesting to see how he fares against better competition now that those teams are aware of what he can do offensively.

he could make a great 3 if he has any handles. it would be awesome.

Also, Doolittle and Buford should develop into good 3 pt shooters.
With Manek coming next year, we should have an effective outside game with size.

Don't forget about Polla. He'll be a space-eater deluxe on the inside at 6' 11" 265.

We have a great system for a stretch 4 - Freeman is gonna be an impact player for us.

I'm happy to see him pulling more rebounds the last 2 games. He can pull defenders out to him the way he shoots.
