Wow, Renzi on the big stage

Just saw a statement in the New York Times in defense of the Kaiser foundation regarding their role in the Solyndra debacle, authored by Renzi. Then I saw his name attached to the quote on Fox News.

Not a big deal, just caught my eye.

That's great for him, he was always an extremely smart guy. I still feel terrible for him losing a child.

George Kaiser Family Foundation spokeswoman Renzi Stone told Fox News on Wednesday that Kaiser never was directly involved in the deal.

“To reaffirm our previous public statements, George Kaiser had no discussions with the government regarding the loan to Solyndra,” she said in a statement.

Yeah - for those of you who may not know, Renzi runs an Oklahoma City-based PR firm called Saxum PR.

One of their clients is the George Kaiser Foundation in Tulsa.

I've run into him several times at PR-related events, as I also work in PR. Very cool guy.
