You are the #1 player in the country.... which Big 12 school other than OU do you commit to?

I'd ask OU to reconsider!

Then I'd probably defile my morals and go be a turtleneck wearing Chickenhawk :facepalm

If I have to stay in the big 12 and it can't be ou, then Kansas.

Probably the best benefit plans are at Kansas, Oklahoma State or Baylor.

It has to be KU. Great fan support and coach.

The rest is a process of elimination. No way would I consider Tech, TCU, or K-State. ISU lost Hoiberg or I would have considered them. I don't think much of Travis Ford as a coach.... but I like James Dickey..... Still would eliminate the Pokes. WVU always seems out of control. Baylor always does well in spite of the knocks on Drew as a coach. He's better than he gets credit for.

My dark horse pick would be UT. I like Shaka Smart. He did a good job at VCU. With the UT resources I think he will be a recruiting fool. Young, energetic coach with a good system.

BigTime has been hacked!

No doubt about it. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that.

My gut tells me that somewhere in chickenhawk land, Cheno and Grace have a smile on their face.

In the old Big 12 I would have gone to Colorado, and in the new Big 12 I would probably go to Iowa State or Texas. Remember, this assumes that I am the #1 player in the world and a certain lottery pick no matter where I go.

If I am a consensus #1 I go to Kansas. I hate losing and I love winning. It's as simple as that. No one wins more in the Big 12 than Kansas.

Kansas is obvious, only way that would change is if my playing style greatly fit somewhere else.

KU for sure. Yeah, their fans are colossal tools, but easily the best program in the league and Lawrence is the best college town in the league.

Is it really? I never have heard anyone say that before...I haven't been so I don't really know.

LOVE lawrence, it's a blast. If I was #1, I would pick KU too. You would be a god on that campus, with a huge basketball following, highest chance to win, and great place to have fun for a year before the NBA. Big reason why I wouldn't pick ISU, I'm not hanging in Ames for a year.

It's a great town. Austin is a great city as well, but I wouldn't call it a college town. Same for Fort Worth, although not as cool as Austin and even less of a college town.

Norman is a solid but not great college town. It's certainly in the top 4 though with Austin, Ft. Worth, and Lawrence, and there is a massive dropoff after that. Waco, Lubbock, Ames, Manhattan, and Stillwater are varying degrees of hell. I've never been to Morgantown, but have not heard good things.
