#1 Villanova & #2 Viginia both out. No excuses.

There could have been debates about whether we were the better team between those 2 schools but now that they are out there is no excuses. It's on OU to go out and take care of business. People may say that MSU and NC State were better but there's no question we should beat both. It all comes down to our play now. We have had it paved out for us and now it comes down to if we want to bring our A game. Were the best team left in our region. Let's show the world guys! It all starts with Dayton. Go out and play to their capability and it's the sooners for the taking!

We're going to be underdogs against Mich St. if we're able to win today, by 3+ points. Seeding is just numbers at this point and they clearly are playing at a high level. They should never have been a 7 seed to begin with.

I definitely would have preferred to play Virginia as their offense has difficulty catching up once they are down 7-8 points. Not so with MSU and from my prespective MSU's defense is comparable to the Cavalier's. It will be a tough win but one we can definitely get done. But Dayton first.

Clark Kellogg almost dissed us bad, but caught himself. He said the OU/Dayton winner will "not be difficult, although they will be challenging, but won't be an uncomfortable matchup for Michigan State". They all basically have Michigan State moving on to the Final Four.

I just hope they aren't right.

Soooo you don't think we are the best team left in the bracket? You don't think if we play to our capability then we win? All I was saying is it's not like we can say hey they were a hell of a team and better then us. We could play with Villanova and UVA but I don't know if we were just better. We are better then the rest of these teams (IMO) and so if we come out to play YES WE SHOULD WIN! If your gonna be negative about our teams capability then I guess go sit in a corner by a dumpster cause that's garbage.

We'll see how good they are and how good we are... it's not fair to say OU is the best team left in our region.

You can't tell that from that graphic. They're at 59% because they're guaranteed a spot in the sweet 16. At this point, they might play Dayton. We have 2 games to win, which is obviously more difficult, to make it to the Elite 8 and they only have 1. Of course, they're more likely to make it than we are.

After our game with Dayton we can look at that graphic and see what 538 says. Maybe they'll have the Spartans as favorites but tight now we can't tell for sure.

Ya cause Georgia state was better then Baylor and UAB was better then ISU. Just because a team wins doesn't mean they are the better team. OU is the best well rounded team and can plan anyway (fast or slow) that an opposing team wants to play. This is all opinion, obviously, but in MY opinion OU is the best team left in our region and it's all on their shoulders whether they want to advance....and again...NO EXCUSES.
