Anything to be concerned about vs RGV or UTSA?

UTSA was good last year and gave us a battle in Norman (we won, 97-85). Steve Henson's their coach.

From their website: Reigning Gene Bartow Conference USA Coach of the Year Steve Henson, who enters his third season in the Alamo City, returns eight student-athletes, including four starters, from last season's squad that ranked in the third in C-USA in scoring en route to an 11-7 league mark and the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament. The returners are headlined by 2017-18 Conference USA Freshman of the Year and second team all-conference selection Jhivvan Jackson, along with 2017-18 all-freshman team member Keaton Wallace and veterans Giovanni De Nicolao, Byron Frohnen and Nick Allen.

new guys, away, good coach..yeah. Nothing is easy.

I would think OU WOULD have better overall athletes BUT sometimes that don't mean jack.

TRYING to just enjoy the season this year...no hype.

To be blunt, these are some of my favorite seasons. No expectations and lots of new guys to get excited about as the season rolls on. Too bad, two of the guys a graduate transfers, but Bienemy and Kuarth both look like they could have some game.

Early road games are good imo, might be able to see who wants to play

If you mean do I think these are games we could lose, the answer is yes.

Henson and Hill are good coaches who know how to get the most out of their players. They also know Lon Kruger so well, nothing he does will surprise them. It will be like Lon game planning to play himself.

Playing these two teams on the road was a gutsy move on LK’s part. I’m not sure what he expected to gain from giving two former assistants a chance to beat OU on their home floor? We definitely have more to lose than Henson and Hill.

Another year of above avg play. Mr. Henson will be getting a new gig.

I guess it's something Lon does to help get his guys jobs. Agrees to a 2for1 series:

Even if the miracle of all miracles happens and we start 12-1...(:woot)

I'm going to be VERY non-assuming...
