LK has always been this way.... It's not going to change now. He believes his teams are prepared for these situations and doesn't want to give the other team a chance to scheme. The results havent been great but he's not gonna change now over 600 wins into his coaching career. We got a big 12 road win against a team that was hitting shots it had no business hitting and on a day where our best player wasn't feeling it. I'll take it every time.

The clock doesn't start until the ball is touched inbounds. It's impossible to get a good shot in 3 seconds without making a longer inbounds pass, calling time out and setting up a play. Are you saying Kruger is not calling timeout because Weber & Tubby will out coach him with the extra time?

I'm not arguing with you, but it is frustrating as a fan to see timeouts left on the table. I know Lon Kruger is smart enough to draw up a good offensive set after a timeout. There may also be situations which call for offensive-defensive substitutions late in the game. The best coaches thrive on these scenarios...not sure why Lon is indifferent to timeouts.
