2015-16 Season: Big 12 Teams Personnel

With all of the dismissals and transfers the last few weeks, will Bruce Weber have enough players left to put a team on the court this fall?

Well, somebody has to finish last in the conference...guess it will be KSU. I think most of us saw this coming (including KSU fans) three years ago. Weber can coach, no question about it...but he's terrible at recruiting. He's the coach you want to hire for 1-2 years if your team has loads of talent. Bill Self left him with championship-caliber talent at Illinois, and Weber nearly won a title. Frank Martin left him with quite a bit of talent at KSU, and Weber delivered that first year...but it seems to head south for him shortly thereafter.

As for Nallen34, keep'em coming...your updates are appreciated!

yep, I felt bad for my KSU friends, then he had some success and I got ragged for it. I continually felt if you just rode it out, and gave it time this would eventually happen. I mean Self had the Illini rolling, and he drove it into the ground with Chicago bball talent right down the street. Not sure who people thought he was consistently come to play bball in the Little Apple (no offense of course, just not a basketball haven)

An old high school teammate of custers plays at loyola(chi). Good pick up for them.

Baylor got a commit today from Miami(FL) transfer Manu Lecomte(5'11 So PG). He will redshirt this season per transfer rules and be eligible to play as a RS/Jr in the 2016-17 season.

Kansas State's Nigel Johnson(6'1 So G) is transferring to Rutgers.

Wow! Another KSU transfer?

Serious questions, nallen34. What the heck is going on at K-State? Will the Cats be able to put five scholarship players on the floor this fall? If OU experienced a mass exodus like this, Sooner fans would be calling for Kruger's head.

There is no way Weber survives this. The guy was an awful hire, and they are going to be horrendous for multiple years. He as a coach won't survive that, so may as well just pull the plug now.

Kansas State got a commit today. Isaiah Maurice(6'8 Fr PF).

Kansas State also had a player decommit today. Eric Cobb(6'9 Fr PF)

So far this season Kansas State has had 1 mid season transfer, 3 dismissals, 2 end of season transfers, and 1 decommit.

With these 6, plus the guy that just left and two seniors, KSU has lost 9 scholarship players.

Foster going to creighton is huge for them if he gets his sh!t together.

We play creighton next season, correct? Meaning foster will be sitting out for that season hopefully haha!

He'll probably still find a way to make a game winning shot against us smh

I've heard that a lot of the guys that transferred and that were dismissed had really bad attitudes and weren't very coachable. So Weber knows he had to clean house and start over hoping that the new guys are better and more coachable. It's doubtful that they will be better talent wise, probably more coachable though. This will more than likely be Weber's last year at Kansas State if he doesn't make the tourney next season.

Updated list with Hield staying and Booker transferring to Florida Atlantic

Baylor losing a player. Deng Deng(6'8 Jr C). He is somehow out of eligibility. Don't know the details on this one.

TCU has a player transferring. Charles Hill Jr.(6'2 Jr SG).

Texas Tech's Justin Jamison(6'9 RS/Jr PF) is transferring to MidAmerica Nazarene University(NAIA).
