2016 Recruiting

Not sure but i hope that Austin Meyer kid isn't the guy. kid has a long way to go. watched him at Yukon on Friday and he was benched for a good portion of the game. for a guy who is the biggest kid on the court he doesn't dominate. also watched him last year during the playoff tournament at Edmond North and he wasn't impressive then either. #20 for Yukon is a sophomore and he played well as a center. if he keeps growing and he can get into shape he may turn into something.

OU pulled Meyer and Long's offers. Best prospect on that team may be Haywood.

I think we're after some guy from Indianapolis, but I imagine CoachTalk or garyeb2 would know more.

Thanks, I wondered about Austin Meyer. We really need to land a good one.

Joey Brunk is a 6' 9" 210 top 100 center from Indianapolis. He visited OU last November, but I'm not sure if it as an official or an unofficial visit. I read somewhere that he is friends with Payton Pritchard, our 2016 top 50 PG commit out of Oregon.

Here's a link to the Sooner Illustrated OU Scout site's list of the recruits OU is in on in the 2016 class. As you can see, the list contains a number of high-profile recruits who have shown an interest in OU. This is not a link to premium information, so you should be able to access it:

EDIT: I couldn't get the direct link to the page to work. Click on their home page and go to the drop-down menu under basketball recruiting. You should be able to figure out how to get there:
