I've only seen this girl in brief moments in AAU games and don't have a good picture of her as a result. I do know that OU is recruiting her which means that she must be the real deal. But, what I saw was someone that could not keep a Michigan guard from stealing the ball from her, was probably about one of fifteen from three, lost the ball on the dribble several times, and really wasn't a point guard, unless Aaryn was a PG. She was better when they got behind by about twenty late in the game, and it became a street ball game, she and Joyner Holmes both. I didn't come away thinking that we had to have that girl, on either. But, if Sherri says she can play, Sherri knows guards and knows what she has seen. I haven't formed enough of an opinion to have conjecture at this point.

Wouldn't call it street ball.....she's better in an up tempo style of play and yes you are right when you question can she play pg. She's a hell of a scorer but by being that her team will shut down on her at times, just like the game you saw streamed vs crossover. Joyner, Richards and Dungee were both visibly upset with her bringing the ball up and then shooting long jumper after long jumper

I think Veitenheimer is the best PG prospect. She had a triple double the other day. Pts, assits, and steals. According to Hudl she shot over 50% from midrange and over 40% from 3. Her video is worth checking out. Of course she would have to start as a freshman like Ortiz.

Morris is great and will be great.....i even have her above Patterson but i will say this, her stats are inflated big time.....because of who she is playing against. It isn't just what you do but who you do it against.

I had no idea the level of her competition but her numbers and shooting percentages look good. But, I agree that it's easier to put up huge stats when you are going up against weaker teams/players.

Yes she is playing against private schools but she is probably the second best pg in the class behind Evans
