2017 Prospects

Not sure where the rumor started but I believe the Sooners are in Haiti. Not sure what coaches would be around for a visit?

The entire basketball team is in Haiti on a mission trip???

No clue if this mystery transfer in fact visited. Or if there is actually a transfer.
 
Taylor Roberts of Classen SAS, the Oklahoma scoring record holder, is signing with Tennessee State. No offers from power 5 conferences. Some have asked about her here.
 
OU did have a junior college recruit in over the weekend. As far as I know, Sheri hasn't ever gone on those Haiti trips. Jan does, but I don't know if any of the other assistants go or not.

Must say something about her skill set even if a lower level big 12 school didn't offer her...

I saw a photo of Sherri on Twitter. She is definitely in Haiti this year.
 
I stand corrected then. Somebody was there because they did have a juco player in for a visit. Hale had a story about it.
 
How wonderful. A kid comes in and the head coach isn't there and neither is her top assistant. So, it must have been Chad and Pam.

If it's first contact no big deal, or if they have already pitched and she's met everyone...but, these days I wonder

I wonder about OU looking at a JC kid, if she was not the player of the year, she might just come in as a body...
 
I don't believe so. The McLennan Community College site lists her as a freshman
 
5'8 point guard who shot 33% from 3... not sure she would get much time, but it's possible she could add some depth. Our last JC player Portia Durrett turned out to be just ok
 
Agreed 33% from 3 isn't great, but that's what Dungee shot from 3 last year. Most of our players shot close to that last year except for Manning who was almost 40%
