Every team could use a team with guys like Daryan Selvy. He was versatile and could do a little bit of everything pretty well. He wasn't always pretty, but he seemed to thrive on doing the dirty work needed to win. And the dude could play D.

If Williams doesn't make it, Doolittle will split his time between forward and guard.

I’m not sure there is a selfish kid on this team.
That’s a great problem to have.

Good to hear. I feel good about the mix of talent/experience we have at guard. 5 guys that should be able to contribute.
Forward? Not so confident there. Doo/Manek/Kuath. Would be nice if someone else could step up and contribute there. Merritt or Issanza.

Fall classes begin at OU on August 19th. He better be here around mid-August if he's coming. I assume he's finishing up a class at juco in order to graduate.

Alondes Williams is in the OU.edu database now which for football has always been the definitive word that a player was qualified and enrolled.

My understanding is the team is taking a break from August 1-17. Fall classes begin on August 19th so I don’t expect Williams to be on campus until that weekend.

Not to rain on your parade, but I discovered the OU student database back in May and he was in there then. And I thought the same thing, that once they were in there they were good to go as far as qualification, etc. That is why I thought it was strange that there were rumors that he was having issues.

Anyway, latest reports around here are that he's good to go. Hope so!
