2019 Juco Williams Committed

I'm probably more excited about watching Alondes Williams play than I am for any of the newcomers. I loved his film. He has athleticism and playmaking ability. He can score in a lot of ways and he passes the ball..... maybe tries to make the spectacular pass too often, but he's willing to share the ball. He's a different kind of wing than I've seen at OU is a lot of years.

His film didn't give me any insight to how he plays defense.

I do think it will do him some good to play for a coach like Lon Kruger that will slow down some hot dogging, but I like his game.

Against what level of competition was this film you speak of?
Until I see him against Big12 teams, I'll assume he's like the other jucos we've had the past 15 years.

Fair enough

Here's a couple of clips. The first one is just him messing around in practice He's #24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZq0BfKW9Iw

The second one isn't a highlight film; it's an actual game. He didn't even start. He was a PG in HS and you can tell he's comfortable enough to handle the ball and sees the open man. He's number 15 in red. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5K9uAHrnB8

Can’t that be said about any recruit.

Glad to hear he is in the student directory. I was told today he is should be here when school starts.

Sure 5 stars are probably off limits. So all but 22 kids!

Congratulations

When I recall how Manyang was the number one juco center, it brings to mind the Seinfeld episode where Kramer was beating up little kids in his karate class.

Manyang would’ve been really good if not for injuries & attitude.
