2025 Final Four

Fact of the matter is, you were still wrong even if Duke had won because you were literally saying Houston had no shot to win and talking about them getting blown out. Well they kept themselves within punching distance the whole game and they clamped down defensively the last 10 minutes of the game and didn't allow Duke anything. You don't get to look down your nose at people all week and then hide behind excuses when you're wrong. This is the bed you made for yourself.
I admitted I was wrong, but to act like Houston dominated that damn game is weird. I watched it from beginning to end and I know most of the people in here were saying "Duke is too good." Just because they choked doesn't mean they weren't the better team. Period. That's why they call it March Madness, no? 9 out of 10 times Duke wins that game.

Keep shoveling.

I literally said I was wrong in my post. I think you can't read properly.

Here ya go sweet heart: Learning to Read, Reading to Learn
And then you immediately started making excuses as to why you weren't really wrong.

Literally everything I said that was in Houston's favor turned out to be why Houston won. Crazy to think a #1 seed, veteran, Kelvin Sampson coached team was going to get rolled. I would NEVER bet on that happening.

I don't think you understood what was being discussed before the game if that is your takeaway. You were stating essentially that there was no way Houston had a chance and that Duke was way too good and would overwhelm them. The argument from others was that you were not giving Houston enough credit and they would compete because of the talent, coaching, and effort expected from them. No one said they didn't agree that Duke was the more talented team, but the point others and myself were making then was that Houston is more than capable of beating Duke on any given night. They are a damn good team. You weren't wrong because Duke lost, you were wrong because of the level to which you were discounting Houston.

I would probably discount Houston still if they were to go two out of three or even five games or seven games to be honest.

Talent usually wins out, but again. March Madness is March Madness for a reason. Shrugs.

They were getting rolled and had their biggest deficit in the tournament though. Duke just flat out choked.

I must've watched another game compared to you guys. Make sure you tell these sports writers that watch the game for a living they're making excuses. Alright? Deal. Good.

Houston prolly won't even win the natty. But if they do, I can't wait for you to come on here and tell us why Houston isn't any good still..

Best believe they'll win tonight. The way the FF has gone, it wouldn't surprise me.

Lol, I can admire people who admit shitty takes on the message board. God knows a few other posters would learn that as opposed to their normal huffing & puffing.

UF making a run, sad to see.

Wait a second. Did Sampsons team poop their pants when it mattered after being up 12? I thought they were "tough" and "hard nosed" and they would win?

Wait a second, did you really come on here 10 hours after the game, whereas you waited 36 hours to show your face after being embarrassed by your prediction Saturday?

Yeah no way that should happen when you build a culture for 9 years like he has at Houston....

Gutted for Houston. A lot of Sooners on that bench and in that program. The Gator clamp down on D was very impressive in the waning moments.
Yes it was. But Houston just didn't have that go to guy at the end. Going one on one there with a star probably wins you the game.
