Norfolk State coach Robert Jones, whose Spartans are 27.5-point underdogs to No. 1 seed Florida on ESPN Bet, is "a little angry" over how heavily the Gators are favored for Friday's first-round matchup in the NCAA tournament.

For my people in Raleigh tomorrow. Maybe, just maybe (I'm reaching here). The Norfolk State/Florida game could be better than advertised? Probably not, but hey. At least the coach will have his team motivated.

It was even worse than that when you consider it was 47-27 with a little over 10min remaining. That is 40 points for Clemson in the last 10 minutes after 27 the first 30 minutes.

That was when the officials got involved. 9 fouls on McNeese and Clemson was 10 for 11 at the free throw line in under 4min of gametime. That got Clemson back in it and they made it close at the end by hitting almost every three they shot.

Now I qualify all this with that i was watching on my phone, so it's hard to tell how many of the calls were good. It just felt like about every trip down the floor, Clemson was picking up a ticky-tack foul and shooting free throws.

half joking why i didn’t pick byu, i do like them a lot. but i was high and listening to stupid chris walker when he sold me on vcu creating turnovers, and i thought back to that iowa state game where byu had 28 turns. shugla didn’t bring it either.

Texas A&M up big on Yale early. I just didn't think much of Texas A&M in the 2 games we played them. They rebounded well but they took some of the worst shots I saw in the Big 12 this year.
