What is super negative? I'm making comments on players/coaches actual performance. I'm not dreaming up some crazy scenario for a coaches last 5 or so seasons.

Any chance you had at being "objective" abruptly ended when you deemed Kruger's resume "average" and said he's been "mediocre for 15 years". I'm not here to say that Kruger will come to OU and start winning at a Coach K esque level, but those two statements are so insanely idiotic that any credibility you may have been able to build died a quick death.
 
I believe the idea of credibility flew out the window the moment thebigabd was accused of being an OSU homer.

Last 15 years:

1 Sweet 16 and a monumental fail in the NBA = Mediocre.
 
How many NCAA tournaments in the last 15 years? Shouldn't mediocrity be a coach making the tournament every other year, not a consistent basis? Especially at a smaller school like UNLV.

Just making the tournament is the definition of mediocre. If you miss the tourney all together more than you make it you get fired/are below average! See Capel. Also, Lon has made a habit of winning 0 or 1 games when he gets to the dance the vast majority of the time.

Like I have said before expecting more than what he has always done is just stupidity. He has never recruited at a high level and always just made the Tourney. People on here act like Final Fours and Top 5 recruiting classes are just around the corner??? Makes no sense, especially when a guy is on the downturn of his career!

I really dont think many people think many people are expecting a final 4 out of Kruger but to act like getting back in the tournament on a consistent basis under Kruger is something to be sad about is ridiculous.

Did you not sit through the last 2 seasons or losing?

With the state of the program and the recent NCAA issues isn't Kruger one of the best coaches at righting the ship?

Isn't that what OU needs?

Then given his age he can retire after another successful righting the ship, OU is an attractive job again and Joe C can go out and hire the coach that takes OU to the next level.

The reason many see you as a troll is that you are giving Kruger no credit as a coach. Many of your posts so far has been belittling him acting like OU will remain in the bottom. Sure it might happen but to discredit his track record of consistently winning games during his college coaching year is illogical.
 
Which Big 12 coaches have better resumes? Remember to include coaches with at a minimum a final four and elite 8 on their resume. NBA head coaching experience would help too.

If he sucks so bad and we aren't going to be worth a damn; why are you here? Why would you have any interest in a program with a mediocre coach who can't win in the NCAA tournament and can't recruit. Go find somewhere else to whine and moan; the rest of us are excited to see what the guy can do with this program.
