WV will still probably lose 1 at home plus several road games but they are certainly the conf favorite right now

I agree. WV always has at least one or two WTF-type losses at home every year. Hell....last year they lost to OU at home.

I think he's 26 or 25 away from Al Beal's 230.

Trae's shot selection has got to be better. The second half was night and day, and pretty much the entire reason we went from down 2 at half time to a comfortable 10 point win. It's spectacular when they go in, but he can't be shooting better than 25% on those ridiculously deep 3s.

25 percent from way out there is fine.

The reason we came back was shots started to fall. Simple as that

Traes **** selection is fine

The shots started to fall for Trae because he was shooting open shots instead of contested shots. He went 0-10 on them in the first half.

I didn't realize Trae had been a ball boy.

Doolittle continues to get back in the flow. He had 21 minutes tonight.

Doolittle is playing better every game, and with more confidence. He adds so much to this team when he plays well.

We need to start discussing Trae shooting 23 times, only making 7. He can't keep shooting barely above 30% and OU be able to beat teams in February or March. I keep hoping his shot selection will get better, but it hasn't. That is my fear, that he will shoot OU to a loss when it matters.

Teams have to respect that deep 3 which opens up the floor.

I worried more about Lattin. He has been at OU for 4 years. This is his last year. He should play more physical. Trae passed a beautiful ball to him, but instead of dunkng the ball he tried to play soft against the glass and missed the whole thing. He is very soft for a big man with already 4 years at OU.

You have a complaint about tonight's performance? Unbelievable.

I've never been crazy about Trae's deep 3s that he likes to take. It looks great when they go in, but otherwise it is usually a wasted possession. In the 2nd half, we saw him take his 3s in rhythm and he had a lot more success. I would also like to see him a tad more under control at the beginning of games when teams are up in his grill. He has been inconsistent at finishing at the rim lately as well. But he is a savvy kid and I expect him to figure it out. He's still the best player in the country, yet there are always facets of your game that you can improve upon.

Also, I wonder if Doolittle getting more involved in the flow of games (more minutes) is adversely affecting Manek. It may be coincidental, but I just wonder if there some correlation there.

Exactly. He shot 1-12 in the 1st half and was still able to shoot 30%... I think it’s a matter of him being cold in the 1st. Plus let’s at least give credit to our D tonight too...

His shot selection was much, much better in the second half.

Meh
He had a good selection. Just not finishing.

And 29 points on 23 shots is not bad

Started 1-12

Finished 7-23

6-11 to finish the game.... I’ll take that.

If he stops shooting, we lose. Your choice!

So glad that the fans are coming out to support the team. I know some "football only" guys that are paying attention now and are helping to fill the LNC up. Quite a transition for these guys (and long overdue). For all those in OK, keep up the good work. That was a big win tonight.

I think the original point was that Trae's shot selection could have been better in the first half. This also was an issue at WV. At times, he needs to be more judicious and work a little more to get into a flow at the beginning of games.

Do we want Trae to keep shooting?....hell yes! He's the best player in the country.
