McNeace has got to be the quickest jumper I have seen in over 50 years. I am not even sure who you can compare it to. So many of his blocks look like he actually read the shooter's mind and started jumping before the shot. I dont know if it's twitch fibers and strength or what his magic combo is to achieve this effect - but it's riveting to watch. He jumps faster than a shot can rise from the shooter's fingers. I sure would like to see what he could do in the NBA.

If he develops the toughness and the killer instinct big men need in the NBA I think he will. His almost casual approach to the game worries me some.

btw I am not saying "he's an NBA player" although I guess he could be in the right situation. I just want to see his leaping against NBA players.

I see him as a 2nd round pick but next year he could improve that. 1 or 2 seasons of G league may get him to the NBA, would not be surprised.

exactly. I'd take him as a 2nd round player and sign him to one of those 2 way contracts after a year in the minor league Tulsa team.

His effort level blocking shots is incredible... but his effort level at all other aspects is abysmal. How can you put that much effort into blocking a shot, but hardly any effort in blocking out/rebounding.

He looks confused. And goofy.

If McNeace is listed as a candidate for the draft, it will be on the usual “potential.” Mainly his size, length, athleticism, and ability to block shots, etc. He’s not a sure thing in any area that I can see.

If I was an NBA scout, I would want to see some spunk, a little fire in his eyes, more of a killer instinct and a desire to be an NBA player, or I wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole.

He is an excellent help defender, but he is a poor post defender. He has a knack for getting out of position during ball movement. And too often, he lets opposing players catch the ball on the block where they want to. He needs to work on denials and understanding what the other team wants to do.....so that he can better position himself. No doubt he has some physical tools to work with though.

I like him..seems like a good kid. Being 6'10 doesn't = NBA

everyone has potential...
