CoachTalk said we were bring him in on another thread, but didn't explain further. I asked him if a date has been set or if that meant one may be in the works? He hasn't responded yet.

I really want "Big Mac!" We needed a big body who could bang down low last year. He would give us that this season.

We need a guy who can score down low.

Well, there you go!

He started following Trae Young on Twitter last week. Also followed Dinjyl Walker a while back (both from Canada). Don't see any other related follows from anyone at the other schools he's apparently interested in since he announced his transfer. May or may not mean anything. Just throwing it out there.

it's really exciting. he could be a very nice piece for a good run this season. just a little shot of experience and seniority.

It's be n discussed but Wisconsin has hired Illinois st assistant coach. I think it's not a huge deal but possible

Would be awesome to get him. No lose situation. If he's really looking at Oregon tho, i think that would be hard to pass up with some of the players they lost surprisingly

Oregon seems like the team to beat to me. Coming off a final four run and they may actually have more minutes to give than ou.

Yep. I really don't see him as a starter at OU. Could happen, but I don't think he'd be a favorite to start for us. He probably starts at Oregon.

I think that he would play starter mins. at OU

Agreed. Too much is made of who starts and the players who contribute meaningful minutes in a back up role. Both are vitally important to a team's success. I hope Mikyle picks OU because I think he could help us next season. I also don't see any reason not to add him to our rotation in if he wants to come.

I asked this question sometime ago half tongue in cheek, but I think it's worthy of an answer. If you were an OU coach, which player would you rather have on our roster next season, Mikyle McIntosh or the player who occupies that spot right now? To me, that's a no-brainer. Mikyle would give us a quality player with the potential to play more than one position, while adding to our depth. Better still, bringing him in would have no effect whatsoever on our 2018 class.

By when do these guys have to decide? Don't summer practices start soon?

Probably not until the Fall semester starts (they most likely don't wait that long, but they don't have to hurry due to a rule or guideline).
