34 of 34 from the free throw line. WOW!!!! How good is that?!!!

Amazing FT shooting. I think that will serve us very well as we continue thru this season and postseason.

FREE-THROW PERCENTAGE
(Min. 32 made) 100.0%—UC Irvine vs. Pacific (Cal.),
Feb. 21, 1981 (34 of 34); Samford vs. UCF, Dec.
20, 1990 (34 of 34) OU vs. Iowa State March 2, 2013 (34 of 34)

This is a good shooting team and they've been a good shooting free throw team all year. It was the big difference in today's ballgame and has kept us in most of our close games this year. If Osby had hit the front end of his last free throws against Texas we win that game.

Just amazing.

When I started this thread, I was thinking in terms of a new Big 12 record. I had no idea we just tied the NCAA record with that performance.

What a day this has been! :woot

Towards the end of the game I was hoping that Iowa State was finished with fouling so as to preserve the perfect showing from the free throw line, but in reality I should have hoped for one more foul to make the record ours alone.

Hopefully, we can continue to get to the FT line 34 times a game. That will really help us in the tournament.
