A surprising stat: Rebounding

Rebounding has been a pleasant surprise for me this season. Who would have thought that this OU team would outrebound everyone on our schedule so far, except UCLA, a game we won by 10?

OU has a +4 advantage on the teams they have played to this point of the season. We're also averaging 5 more rebounds per game than last year. That gap may change some when we get into conference play. But our performance on the boards so far gives me hope that we will at least be able to hold our own with the bigger teams in our conference. Rebounding will also be important when we face a much bigger Washington team in Vegas next week.

I just hope Kruger keeps the pressure on to defend and rebound. If he does, we'll win games when we are not at our best.
