Rumor seems to be it is pretty even battle
They keep working like this, they’ll get an elite high school prospect eventually.Honestly men’s or women’s. I haven’t seen a collaborated effort like the entire team and alumni.
Special effort!
As long as the NIL is flowing. They keep working like this, they’ll get an elite high school prospect eventually.
Latest from On3….still at least a few weeks away from deciding. Gives us a chance to play really well and show her we are at Texas level:
The undisputed No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2025, Aaliyah Chavez, has taken her final official visit to Texas Tech, sources told On3. While there are five schools that remain on her list – Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, South Carolina and Oklahoma – sources believe there are three that have the best chance at landing Chavez.
Sources involved in her recruitment believe that Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma are still the programs in the lead following her official visits. A timeline for her commitment is unclear, but one source involved in her recruitment told On3 they believe she could commit within a few weeks. Others said there’s no definitive timeline, but she could choose to wait longer before announcing her decision.
We can’t be. Jennie said she wasn’t done in a interview so its got to be another commitment from the 2025 class. We just aren’t sure who it is. Something tells me Chavez is committed already and was just waiting on things to happen. Now to where no clue, hopefully its Oklahoma. Im actually thinking Oklahoma. Or should I say I would love for it to be Oklahoma.I hope that helps with Chavez, it obvi hasn't helped with either Davis or Parks, unfortunately. I think we are done with '25 kids tbh. Hoping for a couple good portals after the season though!
Haha, coaches say stuff like that all the time. Parks could have very easily changed her mind after that interview, and I doubt Jennie's first thought was "I need to have a new interview to correct myself for my misspeak, since we failed to get a 3rd commit."We can’t be. I don’t believe Oklahoma was never getting Keeley. Never. Because Keeley was following KU’s coaching staff for a LONG while and she went on the back to back visits way before she even committed. That alone showed me she was never committing to Oklahoma. I truly Believe it was KU all along.Haha, coaches say stuff like that all the time. Yes OU attendance is not great. Hasn’t been since the Paris sister days. KU WBB fan attendance is TERRIBLE, very. Like I know Oklahoma’s WBB fan attendance is bad but not as bad as KU WBB fan attendance.I think a big part of it could be the lack in fan attendance, and when you're a local kid you see it on a regular basis if you attend games, which I know she has. Going to KU and being at their games is probably a completely different and exciting atmosphere, however I doubt the fans that attend the men's games actually also attend their women's games. All i know is that every game I see how few fans are in attendance at the wbb's games and it makes me feel badly for the girls. I really hope this changes with the success i think this team will achieve. When i was a student there from 2003-06 the attendance at the WBB games was great!
