No worries. I live in the DFW area. This basketball community in Texas is small it close we all talk to each from San Antonio to Houston to Dallas. All of our kids have played on teams with or against each other. Let's say every time we get together at tourney, camps. We talk about schools, rankings and our kids future. I have a daughter that currently plays college ball in Tx and another will be playing there in a few years. The one that in college was recruited by OU Chad was awesome great recruiter and even better person. Like many programs he does not have final say. The point I make a lot of kids would love to go to OU how many kids from DFW Elite ever make it on the roster. On OU roster Little is the only CY Fair kid. You have two of the top AAU programs in the nation and you only have one kid from both. For example Diamond Lockhart(TT/Wichita) ,AJ Alix (TCU) ,Jada Terry(AM/TT),D. Dillingham(Ms ST) Claire Ricketts(ISU)did not go to OU.I don't know if they were recruited by OU if not Why Not.

Thanks for the reply.

If you think Carter is not quick you haven't watched very close. Her problem is that at times she is too quick and she always use her quickness very well, but she may be the quickest on the team. Definitely quicker than Maddie now.

Hard to tell what anyone is doing in recruiting for the womens program. I have a sense that Sherri has a filter that will give character an edge on talent at times. We have never had anyone come close to duking it out on the court like Griner or Riley.

Also we don't seem to have an edge on anyone for Oklahoma girls. Glad we have (hopefully) Dungee and Llanusa but it would be nice to land Johnson and Wilson as well. Still puzzled about cancelling the summer camp. Seems like we scored a number of recruits who attended.

When Gioya was scoring well, she was getting a lot of that driving into the lane for short jump shots or layups. Once the defense saw her do that, they were able to force her to stop her drive. If she went into the middle, she lost the ball. She became better as a spot shooter.

They never stopped Maddie. When they encircled the basket to stop her in the lane, she executed that fallback jumper. Watch Maddie closely. How many people can go out front and steal a three-point shot by jumping up to catch it. Don't block it. Catch it. She did that twice in five minutes against TCU. How quick is that?

Funny reading this. The same thing was told to me by Didi Richards and her parents. Chad was really recruiting her then one of the 2016 kids told the head coach she would decommit if they kept recruiting her.

What's more amazing is Richards told me back in April that Oklahoma was one of the few schools she was considering.

Don't know what's going on up there but it doesn't seem like it's headed in the right direction. Good luck to you guys

This post blows my mind. When Chad has a good relationship with Richards and Richards likes OU and when we are needing more guards in 2017, why would Sherri pull the plug on her recruiting?!?! Unless the goal is to be third in the Big 12, that makes absolutely no sense!

Well, that is what you have maintained all along. Must be Sherri's goal, to be third---or to blow your mind.
