Griffin in perfect health for 2nd rookie year

I read an article, (cant find now) that said the clippers wanted to get in on the Melo trade, but they refused to include Blake in any deal...

I think that says a lot about the clippers hopes for blake in the near future.

just seeing or thinking about him out there in the middle of LaLa land makes me smile. First because I can only imagine what an exciting time he must be having and second because NO ONE has ever deserved it more than Blake.

You just hope that everyone else sees what an amazing young man he is and hope that the NBA just unfolds for him (except when he's forced to play the Thunder).

There was a time that I wouldn't have said anything here....but I have gotten to where I really like these kids playing for the Thunder. You meet them out in the community and they're a rather humble bunch .... see them at their game and they're all about teamwork (To be such a scorer KD is not selfish).

The Thunder is the goods.

There was a time that I wouldn't have said anything here....but I have gotten to where I really like these kids playing for the Thunder. You meet them out in the community and they're a rather humble bunch .... see them at their game and they're all about teamwork (To be such a scorer KD is not selfish).

The Thunder is the goods.

So many think the Thunder will do better next year than last. I'm not so sure.
People don't realize how fortunate they were last year with Blake being out, Yao Ming being out and many other teams in the West having missing ingredients when the Thunder played them.

Clippers exercise contract extension on Blake

The Los Angeles Clippers today exercised the club’s fourth-year contract option on guard Eric Gordon and the third-year contract option on forward Blake Griffin.

Gordon, originally selected by the Clippers as the seventh overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, begins his third NBA season and is now signed through the 2011-12 campaign. Under the NBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Clippers had the right to exercise these contract options.

Marcus Camby is impressed with Blake Griffin's work ethic.

"I think he's going to be an All-Star in this league for many years to come, with just the athletic ability he showed when we got there," Camby said. "He's probably one of the hardest-working players that I've seen in my 15 years. He really gets after it, he wants to be good, he wants to be great. His attitude and work ethic are second to none."

Clippers not trading Blake Griffin for anybody

"Blake Griffin isn't going anywhere other than right back here tomorrow morning to practice," said Olshey.

Olshey is loving the man drafted first overall in the 2009 draft but who sat out last season with knee problems. "The guy's taking charges, he's diving into walls," Olshey said, according to HoopsWorld. "You're not going to be able to play at half-speed with him no matter if it's Tuesday night in the Midwest and it's the fourth game in five nights or it's Saturday night vs. the Lakers."
