Amath declaring for NBA draft...

horrible decision. He will be lucky to even get drafted. He needed an Osby like year next year in his back pocket big time.

He has a lot of work to do to become a consistent, productive D1 player. I can't imagine why he would think he's ready for the NBA.

Does any one know if he is even projected to be drafted?

he is old (24 next season) and he is french (thus he doesn't could against a foreign roster spot in the french league) he very well might be happy returning home and playing pro ball there for 3-5 hundred k ...

If his goal to get to the NBA then I can't see this being a good decision (other than age (no, no this isn't a good decision)), but if his goal is to get out of Norman and play ball overseas then this will allow him to do that.

Either way this is disappointing. And strange. Has anyone heard if he was uphappy?

that's definitely a valid point.

He won't be drafted. Good luck in Europe. Dumbest decision I have seen since Gallon and Mason-Griffen.

He has a pretty high ceiling. Really no comparison to TMG who is a foot shorter, and Tiny may have returned if it hadn't been for us paying him to come here.

Maybe the coaches knew this was coming and that's why there were at the JUCO National Tournament
