Per this Hoopgurlz article from about a year ago, OU was not listed as having offered her. Surprising? Reading the article, I think that it gives a hint as to WHY OU hasn't offered:

"She's not the quickest on defense, and she doesn't have muscles on top of muscles," he said.

"But she personifies swagger. She has more shoes than Foot Locker -- all the flavors of the month. She likes to look good on the court, and her fashion is on point."

Ramirez admits to having 17 pairs of sneakers.

"One to match every outfit," she said.

Moncada said Ramirez is popular everywhere she goes. At games, 10 to 15 family members show up to cheer for her. And at school, everyone knows her name.

"She's too cool," Moncada said. "Everyone is always yelling, 'Amber!' at her in the hallways. They know she's a baller."

Ramirez's favorite look on the court is Wagner's all-black uniforms, which she enhances with a long-sleeve black undershirt, black leggings and red sneakers to match the red lettering.

"Black is intimidating," Ramirez said.

Before the game, Ramirez, an extremely vocal person, leads her team in their "hype dances." They usually dance the Dougie, the Nae Nae and the Cat Daddy.

Maybe TOO much swagger? Might've turned Sherri off, who knows?

Here's the link:

Ramirez' early shooting had them ahead of Cypress Woods in the semi-finals until she cooled down a bit. She must have hit four or five threes in the first quarter. She was quicker than the Cypress Woods guards, and they couldn't stop her. She just quit shooting 100%. Once she cooled off a bit, her team lost by about 19. Would like to have seen what she would have done against Skyline.

Some our best teams have been when Sherri used the word "Swagger" to describe our point guard... Ramirez would be a good fit at Ou even thought there isn't a need with Ortiz here... but they might make one heck of a back court...
