Another Player For Next Year -- Maybe

In Obanor’s case, they have a former ORU assistant there now - Hester.

i mean, if you're alabama, don't you start recruiting him? lol. make room if you have to. that is wild stuff though.

as for marvin, surely he is not on the team if he is promoting that tourney on twitter. NIL aside, wouldn't this be similar to what doolittle was suspended for a couple years ago?

You think it's fishy that their 44-90 head coach is drawing big-time prospects?

I think it's fi$hy. But then I was $u$pected their previous coach, too.

I don't pretend to have any evidence to support my suspicions -- just a persistent gut feeling.

Thats weird of bama to not go ahead and try

So r we looking good for shackleford? The tweet from tech insider saying they think they are not getting shack leaves only ou left, no?

If we get Shackelford, I like where this year is headed:

Goldwire - All ACC Defensive Team
Shackelford - All ACC Second Team
Harkless - Love that guy
Mawein? - Only spot really up for grabs. Top Juco. Could be J Groves or Hill.
T Groves - Player of the Year, Big Sky Conference

Gibson - 3 point specialist. D1 starter.
Hill - Swiss Army Knife defender. D1 starter.
Chagrois - 4 year D1 starter
J Groves - 6'9" inside/outside player. D1 starter.
Noland - Maybe best HS player in Texas

Mason
Cortes
Issanza

In all fairness...you are talking about one coaching stop and not his entire career. He is 441-133 at his other stops combined.

One stint at a low major without a huge history of previous success doesnt make Adam's a bad coach.

toby said on his radio show that he attended a recent practice and johnson was not

I know nothing about their coach. He had a lot of success in previous stops though. Just from the surface I would suspect he is a good coach. But I have no idea how he will do in d1 in a power conference. Takes a lot more than coaching

Anywhere you go, as a coach, the number one factor in success (wins/losses) is going to be players/talent. You get players and you've got a chance....without players you are doomed.

Means to me:

Obanor and Shackelford were set to go to Tech together.

Now:

Obanor could pick Arkansas while Shackelford goes to Tech

or

Obanor to Tech still while Shackelford comes to OU or stays at Bama

Obanor is zooming with Arky coach Muss today. He'll also zoom with Tech.

Arky mod feels like Obanor will end up at Tech.

Like I mentioned before, Tech hired ORU asst. Hester. Along with NIL stuff, that'll likely be a reason Obanor ends up in Lubbock.

All that to say, it could/should eliminate Shackelford even though Tech has two scholarships, apparently.

...so Shackelford could become a Sooner or he'll stay in Tuscaloosa.

perusing their board(s), they say he's not a credible source and that Jaden is still considering a return to school.

Well, if he won't play for us he'll play against us. Sounds reasonable.
