Kazemi's one of the best rebounders (statistically) in the nation. Anderson recruited him when he was at Mizzou, but he chose Rice for academics (he had several other legit offers, if I remember right).

He also might be the first Iranian national to play D1 basketball.

Not a lot of guys are worth taking as one-year transfers. IMO, Kazemi is one who is.

Then why list multiple schools? Additionally, why make it look obvious that you may be involved in an NCAA violation. It does not make a lot of sense to me.

I'm an Owl, and have watched Arsalan for the last three years. Great motor, great athleticism, would be an instant impact player for sure.


...as an aside, the offseason Rice basketball implosion has been absolutely epic. We've now only got 4 players on campus with any D1 experience. We'll be filling the team with walk-ons and football players :facepalm
