Just curious if anything new has happened over the course of the last week or so. I'm guessing that each will wait to see who TU hires before they make any decisions, based on what I've read on this board, both guys really improved as Seniors. Was that improvement enough to warrant OU being in the mix? Again, just curious.

Haven't heard anything or seen anything written about them since last week when it was said they were in "wait and see" mode.

Thanks for the quick response...that goes in line with waiting to see who the new coach will be. In your opinion if they ask out of their LOI should OU try to get into the picture?

I'd be surprised if they didn't try to get involved with Wright. I bet he'd be a hot commodity if he became available again. Just guessing though. No legit sources/info on this situation.

I bet Scott Drew has already called Wright.

I read somewhere that OU was interested early but wanted him to go to prep school, but it sounds like he has improved quite a bit coming off an injury. Seems like Wright would fit a need that we will have.

I saw him play in the finals on tv, he wasn't even the best player on the floor. The Johnson kid from Union was the best player and it wasn't really close. The Woodard's couldn't go by Union's guards.

I think Wright could be a really good player in college!

Yet elder Woodard is going to TU (and had an OSU offer), and younger Woodard has OU and Memphis offers. Where is the Union kid going again?

Why people think they can evaluate college talent from one game, I'll never know.

I didn't see the game, but I thought that Edmond basically played stall-ball. I was happy at the result since I'm a Union guy!

I can't evaluate talent, but if OU could somehow get both Woodards, Clark or Parker, Wright and the Morris kid and then follow up with Omega Harris, I'd be a happy camper.

I was a HUGE proponent of getting the younger Woodard over Clark at one time. I think my mind has been changed on that. I'd love to get Clark, Parker, and Morris for 2013, and Harris for 2014. Assuming we use both of our 2012 scholarships, we'd still have 2 available in 2013. Keep in mind that Cole picks up a scholarship for the 2013-2014 season.

If we could fanangle Wright this year and what you said above, I'd be very happy. I think Harris is a kid that could really come on in the next year or so nationally.

Parker posted his current favorites on Twitter the other day.. they included.. Georgia, Memphis, Tulsa, OU, Vandy & Marquette...

Woodard didn't score in the second half against Union. We aren't recruiting him.

If his brother doesn't like us because we didn't offer James, well neither did Kansas or Memphis.

Woodard did score in the second half against Union, just not that much. He only took 5 shots the whole game. OU recruited him and didn't offer him. Woodard and Wright OU was in on early but didn't offer nerither one.

I know in two games against Parker he played great. Parker couldn't go by him and only scored when Parker would post him up.

As for Woodard, if he can't go by someone who you claim nobody is recruiting then I guess he will have trouble going against D1 guards. He didn't just guard him well, Woodard COULD NOT go by him. I saw Union play Booker T. Washington, Sante Fe, and Edmond Memorial. Johnson was the best player on the court in every game. Parker played good as well, that game against BTW is the best high school game I have ever seen.

I doubt Self if going to waste his time recruiting anyone in Oklahoma outside of Clark.

Why did they play stall ball with the so called best guards in the state? If they were so much better than Union's guard why did they stall? Why couldn't they go by Union's guards all game if they are big time players?

I didn't watch the game, but it's pretty easy to keep a guy in front of you if you if you know he isn't going to shoot unless he has a layup (a form of the stall offense).

And maybe the Union kid is a good defender, but doesn't score it well enough to play anywhere good. Or maybe it was just one or two games. Scouts obviously feel VERY differently about these kids than you do.
