Very common in the men's FIBA circles, but becoming much more popular with the women. It was actually a quite brilliant idea for Ashley to have dual citizenship because it also allows her to play on the same team with CP in Europe without the regulations of having a certain number of US players on the team and court at the same time. Take it a step further...there are limits as to the budgets for US players. They usually can only afford one guard and one post player from the US. AParis can be paid and receive benefits as a European while playing overseas. Bright young ladies to be confident enough to live and work abroad, while making the most of it financially.

Furthermore, if FYR Macedonia qualifies for the 2016 Olympics, guess who will be there?
