If a poster has the gall to avoid a board during one of the best seasons an OU basketball team has had in years, and only shows up after a devastating loss in the Final Four, that poster doesn't deserve to be here anymore.

Yes, the 55-19 loss to USC. We were talking about that in Charlotte last night as about 40-50 of us gathered for the FF. I was a teenager for our previous championship game meltdown when we were 18 point favorites to beat Arkansas ('77 season) and were down 24-0 at halftime (lost 31-6). Although there were some major background distractions in the Arkansas game, there were no long-term hangovers from either of those losses...and there won't be any from last night's game. If anything, recruits considering us will get the impression that it's more likely they play sooner than later.

I seriously doubt any recruit will hold it against us for the way we lost. We are now tied for the most Final Four appearances without winning a title and have the most NCAA Tournament victories without winning a title. How everyone should interpret that is that we're thisclose of a program from cutting down the nets.

Oh, and thank you Ada for doing the right thing. :woot

Bad loss but a Great year. For those who say we shouldn't have been there, tell all those other teams who weren't there. You will never beat a team shooting 72% no matter how good you are. Boomer Sooner to my team!

What a stupid post. This team gave us so much joy watching them. Yes it was a devastating loss but one game does not define a season. The comment that was made about the football team hanging in their. I was at that game and the second half we were totally dominated. I feel bad for the players not for us as fans. It was a hell of a ride from a true fans perspective.
