NORMAN – Oklahoma and Louisville will meet in the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game on Friday, Nov. 29 at 4:35 p.m. CT inside Imperial Arena. The contest will air on the Sooner Sports Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM The Franchise in Oklahoma City; KTBZ 1430 AM in Tulsa; Varsity Radio App) with Chad McKee and Kevin Henry announcing and be broadcast by ESPN with Dave O'Brien (PxP) and Jimmy Dykes (analyst) on the call.

I’ve watched every Louisville game. They are NOT the same abysmal team they were under Kenny Payne the past 2 seasons. In fact, they have completely different players who are all learning how to play together — kinda like us but even more drastic. They have started to really gel in the Bahamas though.

They shoot a TON of 3s. They don’t really have a plan B if those aren’t falling (see: when Tennessee destroyed them at Louisville a couple weeks ago), but they’ve been shooting the ball well this tournament. Chucky Hepburn is their heart and soul on both ends of the court. Dude just wins. We should out-rebound them but we need to really focus on it like we did against Arizona today.

I’m shocked it’s OU vs Louisville in the championship game. Both teams with lots to prove - should be a hard fought, fun game!

Watched the game again this morning just to make sure the kid they referred to as luke northweather really was him. Kid pkayed out of his mind. I’m not sure i have ever seen a game where a kid exceeded my expectations as much.

Please nobody make a loud noise around him and wake him up.

Watch fears all you can this year he will be one of the first players taken in the draft next year. If gets a little more consistent taking care of the ball — this teams ceiling rises appreciably

Bill Walton always said that nothing was less important than the score at halftime. I think the only thing I’d put ahead of that would be the polls, especially in Nov and Dec. I’d rather have good NET/Kenpom/Evan Miya/Bart Torvik numbers any day. Pollls mean nothing. I know some of you think it might help with recruits, but do you think any recruits care or remember that we were a top 10 team for a hot minute last season? There are probably 40 teams or so that will be ranked at some point in any given season. It has no impact on making the tournament and is all forgotten very quickly. Win games and the stuff that matters will take care of itself. But for people who care about it, I think there is a decent chance the winner today sneaks in because it’s a high profile tournament.
