Any word on how the visit actually went?

I doubt if we'll hear anything until early next week. That's usually the case with a weekend visit.

He has OU ties in the family. His grandfather, Ron Crabbe, played baseball at OU. I have a friend who's husband is Grandstaff's cousin. She has been telling me about Austin for a couple of years. Would love to see the Sooners get him.

She says the family is not offering up much info, although she thinks the OU family ties are pulling strong. She knew he was in Norman today and headed to Florida next week.

To be fair Kentucky is doing better than us this year (although imagining this squad with Randle is scary). With the way Jerami Grant is performing this year, I wish he would have chose OU over the Orange.

Actually UK isn't doing better than us. We have the same overall record playing in a tougher conference. They have one quality out of conf. win over Louisville.

Sounds like OU is at least a legitimate contender. Hopefully, the lure of staying close to home will win out in the end. If he wasn't happy being away from home before, I can't see him going to Florida for more than a visit.

That's what I'm hoping. Combine that with playing in the Big 12 on a team that works hard and looks pretty salty for the near forseeable future.
