we got a gaurd transfering wont say who but if the coaches cant talk him out of it this will sting.

why would you not say who? You're just letting the rumor mill get going...

PS - If it's Hornbeak, I would hate to lose him, but I think we could pick up someone in the late period who could contribute (please D'Angelo Allen) at least as much as he did this year with the injury ... only problem is no backup PG.

But I like Hornbeak a lot -- he's a tough kid.

beak started 29 of 32 games as a frosh and didnt start 1 game this year that had to hurt.

Didn't he have a cheek bruise earlier in the year after a fight with his locker? I know he was frustrated early on, and getting injured didn't hurt. He's the kind of kid who will transfer and then break our hearts by scoring 25 in the NCAA tournament some day.

Really hope it's no one at all. Hornbeak always seemed on board with the time through and through, but he definitely is the logical choice.

Losing Cousins would REALLY hurt if it's him. He has the ability to go off in scoring and his defense against NDSU kept us in the game really.

Are you saying its Hornbeak? Who is your source? You have been caught being deceitful in the past.

Hopefully it is nobody.

Hopefully not Hornbeak, he outplayed Woodard towards the end of the year. If he is able to go through the offseason healthy and develop his game, it wouldn't surprise me if he started over Woodard.

My money is on Hornbeak. Really hope not, he plays smooth like Chauncey Billups calms things down

Nike already confirmed that hornbeak is the rumored transfer. Really hope he decides to stay, he's going to get tons of minutes and could be a really good player if he stays healthy for an entire year. That's probably the main reason he's fallen behind Cousins

My money is on the op being full of bs....again

Hope it's not true, but wouldn't surprise me. There were rumblings about him being frustrated with his role earlier in the season.

This team needs him badly, though. He is the kind of guy that would have been key for deep tournament runs the next two years.

I know he is unhappy with going from the starter to a backup but look at this, how many times was he in the game at the end for Jordan in crunch time? He was huge for us in the texas win and WVU win and even the TTU win on the road, scoring in double figures and dishing out assists and playing good clutch defense. I remember sometimes no one wanted to step up and he would go on spurts of 6 points or so and spark the team. Would really hate to see him go but if he did I would not hold it against him. I just want him to realize this team has a shot for two years if everyone stays and contributes
